There is a great need for medical aid in the orphanages.  Diseases that have been virtually wiped out in the United States, such as polio and Hepatitis B are still afflicting some of the children.  Ear infections and upper respiratory infections are a constant problem.
If you'd like to help, please contact us.

Sterilizing-lamps are needed in the infant and toddler rooms, to prevent epidemics.  Incubators are needed to save the lives of newborns.  The clinics need equipment and basic instruments such as sterilizing plates, oxygen bags, and microscopes.  Money for medicines, vitamins and supplies such as clean syringes are very badly needed.  Children need life-saving tests and surgeries.

Please see Orphanage Requests for specific details about the needs of some individual children.  Donations to our General Fund for Medical Aid would be very much appreciated.
